Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to conduct the examination of CTET. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for CTET Application Form online from the official website. as per the latest update, the online application form will start from 27 June 2018. Central Teacher Eligibility Test  Important Dates:

CTET 2018  Starting Date of Online Application 22nd June 2018

Last Date to Pay Fee 21st July

CTET Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit- 

Min- 18 Years

Max- No Limit

Educational Qualification: 

For Class I-V: Candidate must have completed class 12th with at least 50% marks or should have cleared or appeared in final year diploma of elementary education.

For Class VI-VII: Candidate must have Graduation degree + passed or appearing in final year exam of (2 years) diploma elementary education.

Application Fee:

For General/OBC- 

Paper- I or II: Rs 600/-

Both Paper- I & II: Rs 1,000/-

For ST/SC/PWD-

Paper- I or II: Rs 300/-

Both Paper- I & II: Rs 500/-

Pay Fee By- Through Challan by deposit of prescribed fees in CBSE Account with Syndicate Bank or HDFC Bank in favor of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi or By Debit/Credit Card.

Selection Process: Candidates have to appear in the written exam for both papers.

CTET Exam Notification 2018:

Every year CBSE conducted a Central Teacher Eligibility Test by which applicants get an opportunity to eligibility certificate for the appointment of a primary teacher for class I-V and Upper primary teacher for class VI-VII. Mainly CTET exam is conducted to fill the vacant position of teachers in Kendriya vidhayala (KV)/ Navodaya Vidhyapeeth (NV). This is just an eligibility test which is required to be passed by the candidates as a qualification criterion. 

Eligibility Criteria:

For Class 1 to 5 (primary stage)

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

For class VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

OR

Graduation with at least 50%marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

How to Apply for CTET 2018 Exam:

  • First of all, you have to visit CTET official website i.e. www.ctet.nic.in
  • Now, Candidate have you click on notification link.
  • Register for CTET, then save this registration number for the further process
  • Instructions will be displayed on the screen go through them carefully, CTET Application Form will appear on the screen.
  • Fill the Online Application with all the particulars
  • Click on next, Upload scanned copies of photographs and signature
  • Now deposit the application fees through Online payment mode like net banking, challan, Debit-card, debit card. Application fees for different categories are stated above.
  • Save the application form and take out the print for future use.
